I went to Okutama Umezawa Mitaki in October 2018 ^ ^ This waterfall is a bit inconvenient to access, so when I read blogs, the words “very hard!” To tell you the truth, there are foreigners who are hot and cold. I think that the impression that I went is not a problem if you are doing “walking 2 weeks” or so. In fact, there are also many madams who are over 60 years old. Access to Umezawa Santaki

1) Get off at Shiromaru Station, which is said to be the Tokyo-One secret station. it’s the best

In my case, it was a train bus, but I think it would be better to go by car.

From there, we go down a little and aim at [US Camp Village]. You will arrive surprisingly soon. Is it about 15 to 20 minutes on foot? I think it was a little earlier.

2) I will go sideways to the American camp village

Please finish the restroom in the restroom near the station early. I can not stand 800m thinking “I want to do something special” ^ ^;

Some lodges are dotted around the end of the camp village. From now on, I will go from here to the secret ground further.

4)　Umezawa park land arrival!

In the case of this waterfall, a little hot spring is difficult. It is difficult especially when walking. If you go to Okutama area, return to “Moegi-no-yu” or head to Hatonosu Station and go to “Hatonosu Onsen” or “MItake　area” to see youthful hot spring.

Please note that you will be taken here if you walk from the station and stop at the signboard mentioned above and follow the road. I really cried. I came back with a dash. The entrance to the waterfall Umezawa Park is at the back of the signboard.

Parking Umezawa garden place

There is a small space at the entrance of Umezawa Park where 2 to 5 cars can be stopped. Maybe, I can not stop the season when the autumn leaves are crowded. It may be possible if it is parked.

Recommended time to Umezawa Santaki

January-March

The benefit is less people. The disadvantage is less green. If it snows, it is hardship, training.

April-July

At a time when I think that it is personally the best, fresh green, negative ion seems to be the best. However, insects should be fine too.

August-December

It was this time that I went to the busiest time, but I removed the colored leaves. Maybe the time of autumn leaves is the most crowded.
