I came to Hatanosu Valley, Shiromaru Dam in Okutama.
If you are looking at the hiking trail, it seems that there is a course that goes from St.KORI Hatonosu Valley to Okutama via Shiromaru Dam, but the highlight was hiking to that section to Shiromaru Dam. It is a comfortable place to walk while looking at the valley of Emeral Greens at a distance of about 10 km. Suddenly, you may get off at Hatonosu Station.

I wanted to go hiking, so I first got off at KORI Station. After that I walk through a private house, through a lush grassland. Personally I was excited for a long time of negative ions because I hit Ogawa. There are many tags of “bear’s attention” in such places, so Bear Sling. I will continue to go to the destination with a few landmark bridges. The view of the valley seen from the bridge is wonderful.

- 2)鳩ノ巣渓谷到着

昔の旅館が今はすべて廃墟になってそこにあります。ちょっと異様な雰囲気ですけど、嫌いじゃない、てか好き。「昔はここに観光で来る人も結構いたんだな」と妄想しながら過ごすのが嫌いじゃないです。たたずまいも好き。廃墟群の中に二つ滝があります。「双竜の滝」とすんません、もう一個名前忘れた。
もう一個のほうは、滝というにはかなりこじんまりしてます。双竜の滝は、なぜか立ち入り禁止です。「ここまで来たら見たいにきまってるでしょ」と事故に合う人の思想で立ち入り禁止の札をくぐり見に行くと、結構見ごたえのある滝が目の前で落ちてます。一枚目の写真が双竜の滝ですが、面白いくらいに良さが伝わらない^^;

廃墟に落ちる滝そんなこんなで、この付近をぐるぐる見回っていると水神様を祭った神社があり、そこにお参りして渓谷を見下ろせところがあるのでそこで一息。
これがこのウォーキングトレイルの一番の見所です。ここから景観は本当に素晴らしかった。素晴らしくて別に奥多摩行った日もここに立ち寄ったほど素敵。
- 3)おにぎり食べて再出発

白丸ダムを目指します。途中の道はかなりうっそうとした草が生えた道を進むことになりますけど、エメラルドグリーンの川のすぐそばに見ながら歩けるので気持ちいいです。そんなこんなで割とすぐ白丸ダムに到着します。

何やら魚道という人工物があるので、そこを人であるあたしが通って元来た道を戻ります。戻らなくて白丸で電車に乗ってもよいかもしれないですね。
オススメの時期
人混みが多くても大丈夫な方は、紅葉の時期がオススメのようです。
